Creative and Visual Merchandising Intern
You will be joining a 50-year-old established men's wear brand that has recently expanded with four exclusive stores. Renowned for high-quality fashion, the company is focused on enhancing the in-store experience and brand presence across various channels. As a Visual Merchandising and Creative Intern, your role involves enhancing the visual appeal of the stores through impactful merchandising strategies and contributing to creative tasks across marketing channels. This position offers a valuable opportunity to collaborate closely with the brand's head and contribute to both in-store and online branding efforts. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing in-store visual merchandising that aligns with the brand's identity, creating attractive window displays, product placements, and store layout concepts, ensuring consistency in brand messaging within the store, developing outdoor media creatives, and creating social media content that resonates with the target audience. Additionally, you will conduct market research to stay updated on visual merchandising and retail display trends, collaborating with the marketing and design teams to ensure all creative materials align with the brand's objectives. To qualify for this role, you should be pursuing or have recently graduated with a degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Communication, Marketing, or a related field. Strong creativity, attention to detail in design and space planning, familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, an interest in fashion, retail, and branding, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential requirements.
