As a Game Design and Development Instructor, your primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in game design, game development, interactive media, and related subjects. You will play a key role in advising and mentoring students to support their academic and career development. It will be essential to maintain an active record of scholarly research, creative practice, or professional engagement. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to curriculum development and program assessment. Collaboration with faculty from various departments to foster interdisciplinary initiatives will be a crucial aspect of your role. Participation in departmental service and governance activities is also expected. To be considered for this position, you must hold a minimum qualification of an M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering or a Master's degree in Game Design or a closely related field. Demonstrated teaching experience at the college or university level is required. A strong portfolio showcasing creative or scholarly work in game design, development, or interactive media is a must. Preferred qualifications for this role include proficiency with popular game engines and tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, among others. Experience with programming languages commonly used in game development, such as C#, C++, and Python, will be advantageous. Familiarity with narrative design, user experience (UX), or serious games is desirable. An interest in emerging technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI) in games, or mobile platforms will be beneficial. Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or industry partnerships will also be considered positively.,
