We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee our financial operations in Pune. Job Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, taxation, cash flow management, costing analysis, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Tally and Zoho applications. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models, including revenue forecasting, expense budgeting, and cash flow projections. Analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and providing insights. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Develop and monitor KPIs relevant to healthcare devices manufacturing. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads. Develop and maintain rolling forecasts. Implement and improve budgeting and forecasting processes. Costing & Inventory Valuation: Develop and maintain costing models, including revenue recognition and expense allocation. Maintain strong oversight of inventory and manufacturing costs. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Develop dashboards/reports to track key metrics and performance. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. FinOps & Compliance: Manage bank accounts, reconcile transactions, and maintain relationships with financial institutions. Handle vendor relationships, invoice processing, and timely payments. Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations. Coordinate accurate bookkeeping and audits. Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with laws. Implement and maintain internal financial controls. Support month-end and year-end closings. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights. Qualifications & Experience Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of experience OR MBA with 2–3 years of managerial experience in FP&A (preferably in manufacturing/pharma startup). Strong understanding of healthcare devices/pharma business metrics and revenue recognition. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros). Experience with Zoho, Tally (preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy.
