As a Software Developer in the Heavy Manufacturing Industry, your role will involve developing custom desktop and web applications for automation projects. You will support IoT, Digitalisation, and Digital Transformation initiatives by designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on servers and machines. Collaboration with stakeholders and team members to understand requirements and develop applications accordingly will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing technical documentation, including Low-level and High-level documents, procedure manuals, user manuals, and error & solution documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB, .NET. - Experience with application development frameworks and libraries such as ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Angular, and WPF. - Conversant in database management systems like SSMS, SQLite, and MS-ACCESS. - Good knowledge of Reporting Tools like SSRS, Power BI, and Excel. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Azure. - Hands-on experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SSMS. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Understanding of various communication protocols like MQTT, SignalR, TCP/IP, and Serial Bus. Preferred Skills: - Basic knowledge of AI/ML. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure. - Experience working on cloud platforms, preferably Azure. - Knowledge of static analysis/code quality tools like SonarQube or equivalent. - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Certifications in relevant technologies.,
