Some of the interesting problems we are solving are - Forecasting demand by finetuning various ML based and statistical models, finding price sensitivity and other causals to be used effectively in modelling, order generation at stores and distribution centers, etc. We also collaborate with other teams who work in the space of supply chain. Upon getting data from customers, understanding them through analysis, cleaning and transforming them as needed, creating features, KPI analysis and delivering projects with business use cases and stories. Python is what we mostly use for all afore-mentioned activities. Visualization through python or tools like sigma / power BI helps What We Are Looking For BE / BTech or above with 1 to 4 years of experience in data analysis and basics of modelling and timeseries forecasting Must be proficient in Python - understand and use pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn or other scientific libraries effectively and efficiently. Expert in data analysis, exploring data and presenting it in a meaningful way. Must have basic knowledge of modelling to generate timeseries forecast and how to change various parameters and hyper-parameters efficiently Strong knowledge of one database – oracle or sequel server and SQL Some knowledge or experience in the core principles and methodologies of supply chain management will be added advantage. Knowledge of Visualization tools such as Power BI / python packages will be added advantage Good understanding of basics of Statistics & Probability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Python , PySpark , and SQL , as well as in-depth knowledge of GCP services like BigQuery , Dataflow , and Dataproc . You will work closely with data architects, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable cloud-based data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Manage Teams : Lead a team of data engineers and data scientists, guiding them through the design, development, and implementation of cloud data engineering solutions on GCP .
