As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality. You will work on modifying and updating existing themes and plugins to meet evolving business requirements. Creating responsive and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be a key part of your role. Your focus will be on ensuring a seamless user experience by optimizing site performance and usability. Utilizing PHP and MySQL, you will develop custom solutions and integrations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to implement and maintain website features. Regular updates, backups, and security audits will be performed by you to ensure website stability and security. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to website functionality and performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Effective communication with team members to understand project requirements and timelines is crucial for delivering engaging user experiences through responsive and accessible designs. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Material UI is required. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation, knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility are necessary. Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques is expected. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential attributes. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using WordPress themes/page builders like DIVI, Elementor, or WPBakery, as well as various plugins including SEO plugins, security plugins, performance plugins, and backup & restore plugins, is needed. Hands-on experience with the latest versions of WordPress and the ability to adapt to future releases are required. Experience with WooCommerce development, custom theme development/customization, custom plugin development/customization, multisite & multilingual configurations, web hosting environments, server configurations, version control systems like Git, converting static designs into responsive layouts, custom CMS development, and project requirement gathering are all valuable skills for this role. Additionally, advanced CSS architecture knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions, leadership experience, familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization, as well as exposure to international projects or global clients are considered good to have for this position.,
