About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. 2. Perform keyword research and identify content gaps and opportunities. 3. Optimize website content, landing pages, and blogs for search engines. 4. Conduct on-page and off-page SEO audits and suggest improvements. 5. Monitor and report on performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs. 6. Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and other ethical link-building methods. 7. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and best practices. 8. Collaborate with content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented. 9. Manage local SEO listings (Google My Business, Bing Places, etc.). 10. Optimize websites for mobile and page speed improvements. Requirements: 1. Proven SEO experience (1-3 years) with measurable results. 2. Strong understanding of SEO concepts, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. 3. Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, or similar site audit tools. 4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website structure. 5. Experience in content optimization and keyword placement strategies. 6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred qualifications (nice to have): 1. Experience with CMS platforms (especially WordPress). 2. Understanding of basic PPC/Google Ads (as an added advantage). 3. Certification in Digital Marketing or SEO (Google, HubSpot, etc.). Education: 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field.
