Role Description This is a intern on-site role located in Hyderabad for an IoT & Embedded Engineer (PCB Design Focus). The IoT & Embedded Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging embedded systems, focusing on PCB design and IoT integrations. Day-to-day tasks will include conceptualizing and implementing embedded software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, testing and troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom PCBs for IoT and embedded devices Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to create robust product architectures Perform schematic capture, component selection, and layout design using tools like Altium Designer or KiCad Validate and debug hardware prototypes and final assemblies Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, QA) to ensure seamless integration Maintain documentation for design reviews and manufacturing processes Coordinate with vendors for fabrication, component sourcing, and PCB assembly Qualifications Proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and Debugging Experience with Embedded Software and Software Development Knowledge and hands-on experience with Internet of Things (IoT) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Experience with PCB design and hardware troubleshooting is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance in IoT and embedded systems Preferred Skills Experience working on low-power or battery-operated IoT devices Knowledge of RF circuits, BLE, and Wi-Fi modules Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and compliance standards (EMI/EMC) Understanding of firmware development (C/C++) What you will get Exposure to the full product development lifecycle Opportunity to work on real-world impactful IoT solutions Collaborative and innovation-driven work environment Competitive compensation based on skills & experience Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Internship Duration: 6 Months How to apply If this sounds like your next big move, we’d love to connect.
