We are looking for a Simulation Engineer to join our team at DeepEdge AI India Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have 2-4+ years of experience and possess strong programming skills along with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset. Key Responsibilities: Simulation Development: - Develop and integrate simulation modules using platforms such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity, or Unreal Engine. - Create data pipelines to generate synthetic sensor outputs (e.g., thermal/IR imaging) in real-time. Data Integration & Customization: - Optionally include externally generated CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) data to enhance realism. - Develop custom plugins, particle systems, or shaders for desired sensor effects. Automation & Optimization: - Automate simulation scenarios for efficient data collection. - Test and optimize performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration & Documentation: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and experts to align simulation outputs with project requirements. - Maintain clear documentation on system design and integration processes. Required Skills & Experience: - 2-4 years of experience in simulation, robotics, or game development. - Proficiency in Python and/or C++. - Hands-on experience with simulation tools like Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity, or Unreal Engine. - Familiarity with real-time graphics programming and sensor simulation. - Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Plus (Optional): - Basic knowledge of CFD and experience with CFD data (e.g., OpenFOAM). - Experience with middleware such as ROS.
