You will play a key role in building a strong APAC procurement network and act as integral part of India Team. You will also coordinate with affiliates & colleagues within APAC. This exciting opportunity is 100% office-based in Mumbai. What you will do: Enabling effective procurement of materials and freight across APAC countries to meet the company’s cost, quality and lead-time requirement. Optimizing global and regional leverage on purchasing, monitor market outlooks for purchasing decisions and saving opportunities Ensure minimal material shortages in order to achieve OTIF and Recommit targets. Monitor global logistics disruptions and provide guidelines on safety stock based on lead time changes. Assist countries in inventory optimization. Organize regular team calls with country procurement teams on priorities and plan. Build strong and inter-connected APAC procurement network to support one another and share best practices. What you will bring on: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience at a professional level required. Minimum 8 – 10 years of procurement experience. Knowledge of purchasing, import & export, logistics, manufacturing and inventory control.
