Senior/Staff Product Manager, Cloud Security

As the Cloud Security Product Manager at SingleStore, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our platform remains the industry's most secure choice for developers aiming to build enterprise-grade applications. Your responsibility includes safeguarding SingleStore from cyber-attacks to prevent data loss or corruption, ultimately supporting a Zero Trust strategy. By leveraging customer insights, competitive research, and industry data, you drive the roadmap forward by identifying industry trends, feature gaps, and enhancements that elevate security standards and best practices within the platform. Your key responsibilities in this role involve owning the product security of the SingleStore platform, prioritizing features on the roadmap, contributing to the overall security vision and strategy, and collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders like Engineering, User Experience, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support. Additionally, you will engage with external stakeholders such as customers and ecosystem partners for new product introductions, evangelization, feedback, and reviews. To excel in this position, you should bring at least 3 years of experience at a company specializing in platform or SaaS enterprise software, along with a total of 8 years of work experience. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to articulate complex concepts clearly. Your ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt priorities as needed will be crucial. Experience across various security domains including Zero Trust security principles, authentication, authorization, data protection, network security, application security, cloud security best practices, and security hardening practices is expected. Proficiency in general Product Management skills, the capability to define problems, solutions, user workflows, feature scopes, requirements, KPIs, and goals are fundamental. A Bachelor's degree, cyber security certifications, or equivalent experience is required, while familiarity with SQL and/or Python is advantageous.
