As a Test Platform Development Engineer Software Development Engineer at Micron, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining data analytics and visualization tools, software applications, and reporting dashboards to support team efficiency. Your comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end programming languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries, along with a strong sense of visual design and functionality, will be essential in overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and qualify product engineering test hardware, platforms, test firmware, and software for non-volatile memory product bring up and debug. - Create and develop web applications using Python, React JS, and microservices with Flask. - Develop Proof-of-concepts (PoC) to assess the feasibility and performance of various AI models and to demonstrate the potential benefits to stakeholders. - Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and to train and optimize AI models. - Build data analysis, data crunching, and reporting tools to support engineering experiments. - Drive the adoption of automation tools and practices to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. - Test software applications to ensure functionality and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with existing systems and brainstorm software/AI/ML solutions. - Routinely communicate overall project status to leadership and cross-functional product team. - Provide guidance through debug and resolution of product-related issues. Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in programming languages such as ReactJS, Python, and SQL. - Expertise in web application development and data analytics using Tableau, Snowflake, GCP, etc. - Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and optimization techniques. - Familiarity with working on Unix/Linux terminal. - Knowledge of scripting in Perl, C. - Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change. - Drive to determine root cause and provide corrective action for product issues. - Self-motivated and enthusiastic in a challenging, dynamic environment. - Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups to build strong peer relationships and achieve the best outcomes for Micron. Education: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering. - Coursework in VLSI and semiconductor processes is desirable but not required.
