Senior Wordpress Fullstack Developer (Frontend Focused)

As a Web Developer at our large-scale global company, you will play a crucial role in coding and maintaining responsive websites, developing web applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Undertaking web development to code and maintain responsive websites, and develop web applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. - Developing, maintaining, and managing high-performing WordPress websites and applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Designing, developing, and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from concept to completion using PHP to add new features and functionalities. - Integrating front-end interfaces with back-end databases, APIs, and other systems to create dynamic and data-driven web applications. - Collaborating with designers, UX/UI specialists, senior web developers, project managers, and other team members to translate visual designs and user requirements into functional web solutions. - Writing efficient, clean, and scalable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices for performance and maintainability. - Performing thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and fix any issues or bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience. - Ensuring that websites and applications are optimized for various screen sizes and devices, providing a consistent user experience. - Implementing security best practices to safeguard websites and applications against potential vulnerabilities and threats. - Optimizing website and application performance for faster loading times and smoother interactions. - Utilizing version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and maintain codebase history. - Creating and maintaining documentation for code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability. To be considered an ideal candidate for this role, you should have: - 4 to 8 years of proven work experience as a WordPress or PHP/WordPress developer. - A B.E. / B.Tech. in computer science or a related qualification. - Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and good-to-have knowledge in frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). - A solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience in developing mobile-first, cross-browser compatible web applications. - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration workflows. - Familiarity with back-end technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with back-end developers. - Good understanding of user design thinking. - Experience building web interfaces with accessibility in mind. - Experience working with remote teams. - Experience with agile methodology and processes.
