Senior WordPress Developer & Project Manager (Remote, Technical Lead)

This is not a standard developer role. This is a technical leadership position for a hands-on builder who wants to take ownership and grow with us.

We are looking for a highly experienced, entrepreneurial Senior WordPress Developer to act as a technical lead. Your core passion is writing clean, efficient code and building custom solutions from the ground up. You are as comfortable managing a server via the command line as you are developing a custom plugin. You think like an owner, not just an employee, and you are looking for a stable, long-term role where your initiative will be directly rewarded.

This role is not suitable for pure project managers, junior developers, or those who change roles annually. We are looking for a committed partner.

What You'll Do (The 80/20 Split):

• 80% - Development & Server Management:

• Architect, build, and deploy new WordPress projects from concept to completion.
• Full server management: Handle security hardening, performance tuning (NGINX, caching), automated backups, and DNS management.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins. You must be able to code solutions, not just assemble sites with page builders.
• Automate everything possible using tools like Git and WP-CLI.

• 20% - Expert Technical Support:

• Act as the final point of escalation for technical support tickets.
• Provide hands-on support by remotely accessing end-user devices to resolve complex Android and other technical issues.
• Maintain a service-level agreement (SLA) of a

  <1-minute response time

  during your shift.

Who You Are (Hard Requirements):

• A Seasoned Professional:

  You have 3-5+ years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of live sites you have personally built.

• A True Full-Stack WordPress Dev:

  You have deep expertise in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, custom theme/plugin architecture, and robust database/server management skills.

• An Independent Owner:

  You are a self-starter who can manage your own projects and timelines without constant supervision. You take initiative and are accountable for your work.

• A Stable Team Member:

  You have a demonstrable history of long-term roles and are looking for a commitment of 2+ years.

Huge Plus (But Not Required):

• Experience with

  WHMCS

  is a significant advantage.

  $500 USD per month

  , with performance bonuses tied to project success after a 90-day trial period. This is a firm budget. Please do not apply if this does not meet your requirements.

• Work Schedule:

  This is a full-time,

  4-day work week

  (45 hours). The schedule is fixed:
• Tuesday: 17:00 03:00 ICT (Indochina Time)
• Wednesday to Friday: 15:00 03:00 ICT (Indochina Time)
• This requires significant weekend and evening availability.
