Job Title: Senior WordPress & PHP Developer

Location: Hyderabad, India (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Experience: 8+ Years

What Youll Do:

1. Build custom WordPress themes and plugins
2. Convert design mockups (Figma/XD) into fully responsive websites
3. Customize page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and Gutenberg
4. Write clean, maintainable code in PHP and Laravel
5. Design and maintain efficient database schemas in MySQL
6. Ensure performance, speed, and SEO optimization
7. Integrate RESTful APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services
8. Troubleshoot and debug WordPress, Laravel, and PHP issues
9. Conduct QA testing and support staging-to-production deployments
10. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and DevOps teams
11. Use Git for version control and follow CI/CD best practices

What You Bring:

1. 8+ years of experience in WordPress theme and plugin development
2. Expert-level knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
3. Strong experience in Laravel and MVC architecture
4. Deep understanding of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), CPT UI, WooCommerce
5. Familiar with Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows
6. Strong design-to-code implementation skills (Figma, Adobe XD)
7. Responsive design and cross-browser/device compatibility
8. Solid grasp of website performance optimization & SEO (Core Web Vitals, caching, lazy loading)
9. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
10. Clear documentation and code commenting standards

Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred):

• Experience with Headless WordPress and Jamstack
• Familiarity with Vue.js or React for interactive front-ends
• Working knowledge of Linux-based hosting and command-line tools
• Familiarity with cPanel, Kinsta, Cloudways, or other managed hosting platforms
• Experience setting up deployment workflows with GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and schema markup
• Payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal)
• Contribution to WordPress.org (themes/plugins) is a huge plus
• Understanding of web security principles (sanitization, escaping, role management)
