Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the design and planning of wet utility projects, including water, wastewater, and stormwater networks.
Design water and wastewater transmission pipelines, coordinate utilities, investigate stormwater systems, and handle cross-connections.
Conduct hydraulic and hydrological modeling and update system models.
Guide team members in using technologies such as Civil3D, SewerGems, WaterGems, AutoCAD, BIM, Mike Plus, Epanet, ArcGIS, and Excel.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards including water, irrigation, firefighting, and road administration authority regulations.
Liaise with service provider agencies for NOCs and design approvals.
Collaborate with stakeholders including municipalities, city development offices, and transport administrations.
Assist main designers in updating water system models, sewage, and stormwater installations.
Ensure proper design and implementation of water and pressure waste networks, including utility coordination of existing installations.
Prepare designs, drawings, technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
Manage junior technical staff, plan workloads, and mentor team members.
Identify opportunities to grow the team and bring new skills into the group.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and stay updated with industry innovations.
