Senior Web Developer (WordPress & PHP)

As a Web Developer at Anchanto, you will play a crucial role in leading the website development and related activities within the marketing department. Your responsibilities will involve managing technical frameworks, processes, tools, and systems to support marketing campaigns, website development, and technical innovation. You will also collaborate with various marketing functions and the product and engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of the company's marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop both back-end and front-end solutions, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. - Lead the development roadmap for Anchanto's website and ensure its successful implementation. - Serve as the lead developer for any ad-hoc technical requirements for marketing purposes. - Ensure high-performance and availability while managing all technical aspects of the CMS. - Contribute to effective, responsive design and translate it into a functional theme and plugin. - Oversee the hiring and management of other developers for scalable project delivery. - Collaborate with the engineering and product team to develop and manage plugins integrated with Anchanto products. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in technical education or higher Experience: - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in web development, proficient in the relevant tech stack Skills: - Strong expertise in the WordPress Platform - Understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems - Proficiency in WordPress Custom Theme Development and Plugin Development (HubSpot, Greenhouse, Yoast) - Knowledge of ACF plugin (Advanced Customs Fields), jQuery, bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, sass & scss - Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL, AJAX, and LAMP development environment - Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility, responsive web design, W3C Web Standards/Semantics, and Accessibility Guidelines - Comfortable using debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector - Ability to convert wireframes into working HTML pages, interact with RESTful APIs, and use code versioning tools like Git, SVN - Strong understanding of PHP back-end development Attributes: - Detail-oriented and organized - Positive attitude with a quick learning ability - Excellent written and spoken English - Adaptability to diverse and multicultural environments - Capability to excel in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong organizational and time-management skills,
