We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our web team to help assist in the development of both our charity and donor platforms prior to our launch in Q4 2025. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong hands-on experience with Node.js , React.js , JavaScript , and TypeScript Demonstrated ability to build applications from scratch , including architecture, setup, and deployment Proven track record of optimizing performance at both frontend and backend levels (e.g., lazy loading, SSR, API performance) Writes and maintains unit tests and integration tests with frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Testing Library Understands both product goals and technical constraints , ensuring development aligns with user needs and business impact Has worked on scalable, production-grade applications with attention to performance, security, and maintainability Comfortable with system design principles , modular architectures, and service-oriented design Approaches development with a forward-looking mindset , anticipating future needs and designing extensible solutions Balances engineering design with business pragmatism , making appropriate trade-offs between speed and quality Actively participates in code reviews , documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams Experience with CI/CD pipelines , version control, and modern DevOps practices is a plus Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools to analyze issues in staging or production environments Perks and benefits Competitive Salary Work Life Balance Equity Compensation
