Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to deliver integrated solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by QA and users.
- Work with databases (primarily MySQL or PostgreSQL) for data modeling and querying.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs or SOAP web services.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in PHP (preferably PHP 7+ or 8).
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React).
- Experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Yii.
- Solid understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MVC architecture.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and AJAX.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Optional Skills:
- Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of unit testing using PHPUnit or similar.
