Senior Web and UI Designer

Role Overview: As a fully responsible Web/UI Designer, you will lead the production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces. You will be a senior member of an established web design team, collaborating closely within a project team to transform creative designs into functional websites and mobile apps. Additionally, you will work alongside developers to implement server-side code for developing complex, interactive, content-managed, and database-driven websites. Your role will also involve coordination with project managers to ensure smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces - Collaborate within a project team to translate creative designs into functional websites and mobile apps - Implement server-side code in coordination with developers for developing interactive websites - Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery - Utilize HTML, CSS, JQUERY, Bootstrap, or equivalent frameworks for website development - Demonstrate proficiency in front-end build technical aspects - Apply SEO expertise for onsite optimization and effective SEO strategies - Develop responsive websites and utilize extended CSS coding languages like LESS/CSS or SASS - Showcase creative design skills with a strong portfolio of work - Work within a source-controlled environment and alongside creative designers and front-end developers - Utilize Adobe software such as Photoshop or Illustrator for design purposes - Meet deadlines efficiently and maintain composure under pressure - Produce high-quality written specifications with strong numeracy and literacy skills Qualifications Required: - Senior level web designer with technical lead experience - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JQUERY, Bootstrap, or equivalent frameworks - Strong SEO experience and knowledge of effective SEO strategies - Experience in building responsive websites and utilizing extended CSS coding languages - Creative design skills with a portfolio of creative work - Experience in a source-controlled environment and collaboration with developers - Knowledge of Adobe software like Photoshop or Illustrator - Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce top-quality written specifications - Degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience *Additional Details:* The company prefers candidates with experience in Wordpress, Facebook Apps, website and blog development, responsive design, JSON, MySQL, scripting languages like JavaScript, JQUERY, and programming languages like C/C++, Core JAVA, JSP, PHP.
