Job Description

Senior Virtualization and Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of scalable virtualization & cloud architectures focused on VMware & HPE IntegrityVM
Plan and execute workload migrations from on-premises VMware/HPE environments to public/private/hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Build lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting strategies
Serve as technical SME on VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and public clouds
Provide pre-sales support: technical proposals, solution presentations, and SOW creation
Mentor and train junior engineers on virtualization and cloud best practices
Create clear documentation (architecture diagrams, operational procedures)
Analyze existing virtualization & cloud environments to optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency
Recommend new solutions to improve system efficiency, availability, and scalability

Experience & Skills Required

8+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud architecture roles
Extensive hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, HPE IntegrityVM
Strong expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Solid understanding of networking concepts in virtualized and cloud environments
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
Proven experience in large-scale cloud migration projects
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical problem-solving skills
Client-focused with a strong service orientation

Preferred Background

Experience working in Reseller, Solution Provider, or OEM environments (HPE, VMware partners)
