Senior Validation Engineer - Peripherals

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. Your responsibilities will include working on circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment, packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to develop cutting-edge products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to meet performance requirements and develop innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Apply hardware knowledge and experience to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems - Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs based on proposals or roadmaps - Conduct simulations and analyses of designs to achieve the best power, performance, and area - Collaborate with various teams to implement new requirements and incorporate test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality - Evaluate and develop manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products to meet customer expectations and schedules - Assess design features to identify potential flaws, compatibility issues, and compliance issues - Write detailed technical documentation for hardware projects Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience OR Master's degree in the relevant field with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in the relevant field - Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in the relevant field, 3+ years of hardware engineering experience, 2+ years of circuit design experience, 2+ years of experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software, and 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments Additional Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
