Senior UI Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Translate design concepts from Figma into clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain reusable code libraries to streamline development processes under the teams guidance.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement responsive design principles with a strong emphasis on accessibility.
• Conduct accessibility audits and implement solutions to ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Work closely with designers in the creation and implementation of interactive design elements with accessibility considerations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and guidelines related to accessibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with npm build tools and package management.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience working with design tools, especially Figma.
• Strong understanding of accessibility principles and experience implementing accessible web solutions.
• Experience with Web 3.0 animation technologies such as CSS3, javascript, and easing
• SVG animation experience using CSS3.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Next.js, Vue.js, and Svelte.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS or LESS).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with Google Analytics + Google tag manager
• Experience with Wordpress
• Experience with headless CMS systems such as Hygraph / Contentful
