Senior Transportation Planner

As a senior transportation planner at Kittelson, you will play a crucial role in leading complex and innovative multi-modal transportation planning and engineering projects. Your focus on building client relationships and providing mentorship will contribute to the success of the firm and the communities we serve. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your experience in multimodal transportation planning to prepare planning documents such as transportation system plans, active transportation plans, transit plans, and more. - Develop and implement project work plans from inception to completion, managing multiple projects and multi-disciplinary teams efficiently. - Provide technical direction for complex projects, develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for proposals, and build strong relationships with clients and industry professionals. - Contribute to the development of new work opportunities and deliver meaningful feedback and mentorship for career growth. **Qualifications:** - 8-16 years of experience in multi-modal transportation planning and engineering projects. - Bachelor's degree or higher in planning, engineering, or a related field. - AICP preferred. - Demonstrated passion for transportation and consulting experience.
