Senior Tester

NTT DATA is looking for a Senior Tester to join the team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India. As a Senior Tester, you will be responsible for test automation development, test execution and reporting, continuous improvement, and collaboration. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and C#. You will create comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover various functionalities of the application, ensuring that the test automation frameworks are scalable and maintainable. You will execute automated test scripts, analyze results to identify defects, and report and document software defects while collaborating with developers for timely resolution. Additionally, you will generate test reports and provide status updates to stakeholders. As a Senior Tester, you will continuously enhance the test automation framework to improve efficiency and effectiveness, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the codebase. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in test automation, proven experience with Playwright for web automation testing, strong proficiency in C# programming language, and experience with test automation frameworks and tools like NUnit, xUnit. A solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, experience with CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and knowledge of other automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress are also required. Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment, familiarity with cloud environments and services like AWS, Azure, and knowledge of performance and load testing tools are preferred. The ideal candidate should have a lifelong learner mindset, be a team player willing to help others succeed, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate design ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
