As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. - Writing test cases for functional, regression, performance, and load testing with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, pytest, or Mocha. - Collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitoring test execution efficiency and reliability. - Performing performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, K7, or LoadRunner. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or Karate. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5-7 years of experience in software development and/or software testing. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. - Strong knowledge of API testing tools and performance testing tools. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Understanding of microservices architecture.
