Senior Test Engineer (Platform)

Role Overview:

We are looking for aSenior Test Engineerwith strong expertise inAPI testing using Postman,manual testing, and basic automation. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with global teams to ensure high-quality software delivery on our Alight Worklife Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performmanual testingto validate application functionality and user experience
• Design and execute test cases for APIs and applications
• Conduct API testing usingPostmanandSoapUI
• Write and maintain test scripts and documentation
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
• UseJIRAfor defect tracking andOracle PL/SQLfor backend validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support CI/CD processes

Required Skills:

• 2u20134 years of experience in software testing and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency withPostman,SoapUI, and basic automation tools
• Familiarity withJIRA,Oracle PL/SQL, and test case design
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience withFunctionizeor other AI-powered test automation platforms
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
