About this Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the quality and reliability of our applications. You will design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test scripts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing products. You will also mentor junior engineers, champion best practices, and help drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and execute functional, regression and automation testing, identifying opportunities for automation and developing robust scripts in Java using Selenium and look for new tools and improvement areas using AI.

Design, build, and maintain scalable and effective test automation solutions that meet evolving business and technical requirements.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.

Automate and execute test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks

Prepare and review test plans, test cases, and test data, ensuring comprehensive coverage and alignment with project requirements.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and BA to understand acceptance criteria, shift-left on quality, and ensure early defect detection.

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Document and track defects using modern defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira), ensuring thorough investigation and resolution.

Prepare and analyze test metrics, communicating results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Stay updated on new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption where beneficial.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

3-5 years of hands-on software testing experience, with a strong focus on quality assurance.

Minimum 2 years of automated testing experience using Selenium with Java

Proven ability to translate requirements into comprehensive manual and automated test cases.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.

Proficiency with test management, automation, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
