Senior Test Engineer

You are a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience in software testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in software development, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks will be crucial for success. Your key responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. You will identify, document, and track defects, ensuring efficient resolution. Working closely with developers and product teams, you will understand requirements and create test strategies. Additionally, you will design and implement test automation frameworks to optimize regression testing and perform functional, usability, performance, and cross-browser testing. To excel in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and software QA methodologies. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or Playwright is essential. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation is required. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) and familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner are advantageous. Your excellent problem-solving and debugging skills will be valuable, along with your strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP), knowledge of security testing fundamentals, and ISTQB or equivalent certification.
