Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex software applications using Java-based frameworks like Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and implement fixes in a timely manner.
Develop automated tests using Playwright to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Utilize JUnit to write unit tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
Work closely with SQL Database developers to troubleshoot issues related to database schema design.

Desired Candidate profile

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in software development
3+ years of experience with Java or other object-oriented languages
Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (e.g., JUnit, Playwright)
Solid understanding of software design principles and documentation standards
Proficiency with Java 21, Maven, SQL, and both relational and non-relational databases
Familiarity with APIs and their practical use
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with legacy systems and modern architectures
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Leadership experience and mentoring capabilities
Insurance industry knowledge is a plus
