Senior Test Engineer (Automation)

As a Senior Test Engineer at Brightly, you will play a crucial role in supporting the application platforms within the Engineering department. Your responsibilities will include driving quality deliverables, demonstrating data-driven analysis, estimating tasks, providing technical guidance to the test team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest technology trends, develop and maintain test scripts, and contribute to the continuous improvement processes. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, possess at least 5 years of work experience, and have expertise in tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Selenium Grid, Maven, and Jenkins. Strong analytical skills, technical product architecture understanding, and a good grasp of testing concepts are essential. Experience in leading teams, agile methodologies, and automation with open-source tools will be advantageous. Bonus points will be awarded if you have experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, open-source contributions, participation in technology communities, or relevant certifications.
