Senior Technologist - VCM, EDC, PVC

As a Process Technology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing to achieve performance targets. Your responsibilities will include leading the technology input for root cause analysis of complex process and engineering issues. You will define improvements and upgrades in existing processes, equipment, and technologies to enhance capacities and efficiencies. Additionally, you will identify, justify, and prioritize plant improvements for various projects and support their implementation. Your role will involve technology evaluation, auditing plant performance, and ensuring milestones are met for pilot and scale-up studies. Anticipating constraints and trends in technology and product applications will be key, along with active participation in commercial plant trials. Your skills and knowledge in chemical engineering, codes, standards, and process technology will be essential for success in this role. You should be able to work independently, take actions on technical issues, and effectively communicate and network within the plant, site, project teams, and technology network. Strong interpersonal skills, complex problem-solving abilities, and expertise in process design review, simulation, and analysis are required. Key Responsibilities: - Support manufacturing to achieve performance targets - Lead technology input for root cause analysis of process/engineering issues - Define improvements and upgrades in processes/equipment/technologies - Identify, justify, and prioritize plant improvements - Evaluate technology, catalysts, chemicals, additives, and fuels - Audit and benchmark plant/product/energy performance - Ensure milestones for pilot/scale-up studies are achieved - Anticipate constraints/trends in technology and product applications - Participate in commercial plant trials - Develop, validate, customize, and maintain simulation/APC models - Prepare final technology comparison reports - Participate in PSM activities - Coach/mentor and support the onboarding and development of GETs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering - 8-10 years of relevant industrial experience with operational experience in plant processes related to VCM, EDC, PVC - Good technical background and communication skills Joining this role as a Process Technology Engineer, you will contribute significantly to improving processes, enhancing efficiencies, and driving plant performance to new heights.,
