Senior Technologist, ASIC Development Engineering

Role Overview: SanDisk is seeking a Technical ASIC Project Leader to join their innovative team in India. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge ASICs for USB storage solutions, playing a crucial role in bringing next-generation technology to life. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the full-cycle development of high-performance ASIC controllers, overseeing architecture definition to production ramp-up. - Collaborate with product, firmware, and system teams to align ASIC requirements with SanDisk's storage solutions. - Partner with various engineering teams to deliver industry-leading SoC solutions, including SoC Design, Verification, Validation, DFT, and more. - Conduct technical reviews, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies for project success. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to foster innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams. - Deliver clear and transparent project updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and enthusiasm across all levels. Qualifications: - Masters degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in leading complex ASIC or SoC development projects. - Strong technical background in digital design, verification, and silicon validation, with knowledge of USB, PCIe, ONFI standards, and peripherals. - Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage technical risks in a fast-paced environment. - Passion for innovation and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in EDA tools and methodologies for ASIC development. - Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in semiconductor design. - Expertise in low-power design techniques and high-speed interfaces.
