Senior Technician, Drafting Support

As an Electrical/Instrumentation & Control Drafter at WSP, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of various products, coordinating and delivering as-built drawings for customers, creating drawings for permits, updating engineering design packages, maintaining CAD files, and assisting engineers/designers with drafting and development of engineering work packages. Additionally, you will be designing and drafting various electrical layouts, managing and organizing drawings, liaising with internal team members and clients, and working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. You will also be required to plan and organize work efficiently and undertake any other duties as assigned. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control Engineering or a related discipline, along with a CAD Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution. You should have ten or more years of experience as an AutoCAD drafter/operator in electrical and control systems, with a strong knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Plant 3D, and 3D Modeling. Experience in Autodesk Navisworks will be an added advantage.
