Role Overview: As a Risk Assurance Senior at EY, you will play a crucial role in contributing technically to Risk Assurance client engagements and internal projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting fellow Seniors & Managers, identifying risks within engagements, ensuring high-quality work, and fostering a positive learning culture within the team. This position offers you the opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, with a focus on leveraging Azure cloud technology. Key Responsibilities: - Design, architect, and develop solutions using Azure cloud to process and analyze large data sets - Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage - Design data pipelines and work on Data warehousing/Modelling ETL/ELT pipelines - Develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Python - Automate tasks through Python scripting and advanced technologies like databricks, synapse studio, and ADF - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess control effectiveness and facilitate remediation activities - Design IT Risk Controls framework and conduct testing of internal controls Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in building end-to-end business solutions using big data and data engineering - Expertise in core Microsoft Azure Data Services - Familiarity with integrating services, Cloud-related Big Data integration, and infrastructure tech stack - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ideally R, Scala - Hands-on experience with Python frameworks and data extraction/transformation tools - Knowledge of version controlling, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps - Bachelor's Degree or above in relevant disciplines - Certification in DP-203 Azure Data Engineer or equivalent - Strong communication skills and ability to convey information clearly and effectively Note: EY is dedicated to building a better working world by providing trust through assurance and helping clients grow, transform, and operate globally.
