Senior Technical Project Manager with Data Engineering

As an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background in Data Engineering and hands-on exposure to BI Tooling and Data Visualization, your role will involve managing end-to-end project delivery. You will collaborate directly with clients, lead technical teams through development, post-production support, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage Data Engineering and BI/Visualization projects across their lifecycle - Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and drive timely delivery - Manage project planning, execution, resource allocation, risks, and timelines - Handle post-production issues, including L3 support and incident management - Work closely with BI developers and data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines and reporting solutions - Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and support teams for deployment and ongoing improvements - Drive the adoption of best practices in data architecture, governance, and visualization - Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and project updates - Maintain detailed documentation of all project stages and technical components Required Skills & Experience: - 7+ years of total experience, with at least 3 years in a Technical Project Management role - Solid understanding of Data Engineering concepts and pipelines - Experience handling production support and L3-level issue resolution - Strong experience managing BI Tooling and Data Visualization projects - Excellent communication skills and experience in direct client interaction - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices Nice to Have: - Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools - Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend, etc. - Domain experience in Banking or Financial Services - Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus - PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is a plus In summary, your role as a Technical Project Manager will involve managing Data Engineering and BI/Visualization projects, collaborating with clients, leading technical teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.
