Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Manager to lead and manage the electromechanical products portfolio within the automotive domain. The role involves end-to-end technical ownership, team leadership, and close collaboration with global customers and internal cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Lead and mentor technical teams to ensure high performance, motivation, and skill development.

? Define and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives.

? Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

? Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and product quality.

? Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and prioritize projects.

? Monitor industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

? Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

? Act as a technical interface with global customers and attend review calls, meetings, and technical discussions.

? Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders to provide updates, present proposals, and address issues.

? Overview of automotive parts (Sensors, Solenoids, Coils, etc.)

? Prepare BOM, FMEAs (Design, Process), Control Plans and understand customer requirements from documents and drawings.

? Ability to discuss technical matters with customer experts.

? Ability to prepare APQP documentation.

SKILLS:

? Must have working experience in the Automotive industry.

? Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.

? Strong technical expertise in development, implementation, and/or engineering disciplines.

? Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

? Planning and effort estimation for deliverables / tasks.

? Planning development activities based on the overall project release plan.

? Tracking deliverables phase-wise to meet targets and defined KPIs.

? Ensure adherence to standard development processes.

? Ability to coordinate with Customer Engineering, Function Development teams, Test infrastructure (V&V), HW, System, Calibration, OEM, etc.

? Customer handling and escalation management.

? Define roadmap for product development (upgrade strategy in terms of Process, Methods, and Tools).

? Good knowledge of quality improvement initiatives.
