Senior Technical Editor

As a Technical Editor at Zenoti, your main responsibilities will include: - Editing and proofreading user documentation, training content, and release communications for clarity, grammar, structure, accuracy, and tone. - Ensuring that all content aligns with Zenoti's editorial guidelines, Microsoft Style Guide principles, and web accessibility standards. - Collaborating with the Lead for Content Localization to optimize content for localization compatibility and accurate translation. - Validating terminology consistency, plain language use, and sentence structure to enhance AI-based translation and summarization tools" performance. - Providing detailed, constructive feedback to technical writers to support continuous learning and editorial excellence. - Developing and maintaining editorial templates, checklists, and quality benchmarks for documentation and microcopy. - Performing final quality assurance reviews before publishing to the Help Center and other customer-facing platforms. - Staying updated with AI-powered content tools and incorporating them into editorial workflows. - Collaborating with subject matter experts, product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure technical accuracy. - Participating in ongoing process improvements related to documentation workflows, metrics, and editorial automation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in technical editing, preferably in a SaaS or B2B product environment. - Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and style. - Familiarity with structured authoring tools, CMS platforms, and HTML/XML-based authoring environments. - Experience in working with Gen AI. - Strong knowledge of content architecture, page composition, and digital readability principles. - High attention to detail and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines. Preferred Skills: - Strong familiarity with technical writing and applying inclusive language and formatting principles. - Understanding of best practices for technical documentation, including keyword integration and metadata optimization. - Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered editorial tools to enhance consistency, clarity, and editorial efficiency. - Exposure to structured authoring, version-controlled content environments, and working within CMS or documentation platforms.
