Senior Tax Analyst

Role Overview: As a Senior Tax Analyst at Baker Hughes, you will be an integral part of the Global Tax Team, providing support and advice for tax accrual processes. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure tax compliance, identify tax risks and opportunities, and participate in cross-functional projects related to tax optimization and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial data, legal documents, and other relevant information for local tax filings, tax audits, and statutory requirements. - Liaise with local corporate tax teams throughout the tax lifecycle, including tax accounts reconciliation, return to accruals, and more. - Analyze financial data and transactions to identify potential tax risks and opportunities. - Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and legal, to ensure tax compliance in all aspects of business operations. - Assist with tax audits, respond to tax authorities" inquiries, and support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and compliance. - Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to tax optimization and process improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ etc). - Minimum 4-5 years of corporate tax experience in a large multinational or accounting firm (knowledge of other taxes is a plus). - Expertise and experience in tax accounting, particularly corporate income tax and deferred taxes, with good analytical skills. - Experience in preparing and filing corporate tax returns for Indian companies, calculating tax provisions and deferred tax liabilities. - Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge in ERP (SAP, Oracle) is an added advantage.
