Embedded Linux system development
Assist in the development and maintenance of embedded Linux systems.
Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize system performance and reliability.
Device Management Development
Support the design and implementation of device management features like CLI, Web, MIB, and RESTful API.
Switch features development.
Developing and integrating switch features like STP, VLAN, port aggregation (like LACP), LLDP, IGMP snooping, ACL, 802.1x, port mirror, and QoS into the switch's firmware or software
Customer Requirement Implementation
Support the analysis and implementation of customer requirements.
Assist in developing custom solutions based on client needs.
Bug Trace and Fixing
Assist in identifying, tracing, and resolving firmware bugs
Maintain records of bugs and fixes.
Documentation
Create and maintain technical documentation for switch software.
Talent Development
Mentor and coach junior engineers to support their long-term technical and professional growth.
Identify skill gaps and support personalized development plans.
5+ years of switch development experience
Proficiency in languages like C and Python.
Strong knowledge of Linux and embedded systems.
Experience with protocols like Ethernet, 802.1Q, LACP, LLDP, STP, and others relevant to switching.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and related technologies.
Familiarity with hardware-software interactions and embedded systems.
