Senior SW Test Automation Engineer

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, your role involves designing, planning, scripting, and executing software test automation for a cloud platform product. You will report to the Test Manager within the SWQA team, focusing on improving quality assurance through the exploration of new technologies and modern test tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities include: - Having 4+ years of experience in the software industry with expertise in web, API, and software automation testing. - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright/Selenium/WebDriver IO in TypeScript or JavaScript. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases. - Executing automated tests, analyzing results, identifying defects, and areas for improvement. - Implementing best practices for test automation, including code reviews and maintaining a clean codebase. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery. - Documenting test cases, test results, and defect reports clearly and concisely. - Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and the healthcare domain. - Demonstrating extensive knowledge and understanding of JavaScript and experience with JavaScript libraries. - Having a good exposure to GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps. - Understanding the automation requirements and deriving test scenarios. - Being familiar with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Cucumber. - Having knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and FDA (a plus). - Understanding RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Qualifications required for this role include a bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field and experience in developing/using test automation frameworks. Additionally, soft skills like planning and execution, team management, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.,
