Senior structural engineer for water retaining structure

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Scale Engineers Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad, your role involves designing water-retaining and non-water-retaining structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your responsibilities include structural modelling, preparing design reports, coordinating with the team, communicating with clients, and assisting the Managing Director (MD). Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop structural systems for water-retaining and non-water-retaining structures - Perform structural analysis using STAAD and RCDC to determine loads, stresses, and reinforcement details - Ensure designs meet local, national, and international codes and standards - Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, durability, and sustainability - Prepare detailed design reports, specifications, and technical documentation - Coordinate with drafting teams to develop structural drawings - Provide technical guidance and review to junior engineers and drafters - Act as a liaison between the company and clients - Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders - Assist the Managing Director in coordinating multiple projects and identifying risks - Support business development activities by providing technical inputs and proposals Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree (M.Tech/M.E.) in Structural Engineering - Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural design and engineering - At least 2 years of corporate experience - Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and RCDC for structural modelling and analysis - Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint - Familiarity with Indian Standard (IS) codes and other structural guidelines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati - Strong leadership and team management abilities - Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Join Scale Engineers Pvt.
