Senior Structural BIM Modeler

You are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural BIM Operator who will be playing a key role in engineering projects at BIMiT, a dynamic and innovative BIM Consultancy. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain detailed Structural BIM models using industry-leading software such as Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and others. Collaboration with stakeholders in New Zealand and Australia to integrate structural components into overall project models is crucial for project success. You will need to ensure compliance with Company standards and protocols for BIM execution and perform clash detection and resolution to enhance coordination among different disciplines. Additionally, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior BIM operators will be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of relevant structural industry experience, and a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering would be advantageous. Proven experience as a BIM Operator in structural engineering projects is a must. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Tekla Structures, or similar will be considered advantageous. A strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required as you will be liaising directly with Australia and New Zealand regularly. Leadership experience with the ability to guide and support junior team members is also expected. Keeping yourself updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in BIM is a continuous part of the role.
