Senior Statistical Programmer

Position Summary:

The Senior Statistical Programmer is responsible for building programs to create SAS datasets and working closely with other Data Management and Statistics Department staff to provide clinical programming expertise and support to clinical studies across multiple therapeutics areas, as part of the Company's global Phase I-III program.

Role & responsibilities:

• Writes, maintains and validates SAS programs to create templates and macros for data cleaning and reporting
• Develops SAS programs to create and validate SDTM and performs QC of SDTM, under supervision
• Writes SAS programs, under senior supervision, to develop ADaM datasets and ADaM TFL in accordance with CDISC standards and implementation guides
• Programs edit checks as per given specifications
• Performs data transfers to external recipients
• Works closely with other Data Management and Statistics Department employees and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and high-quality deliverables
• Complies with the Company's Quality and Information Security Management Systems and applicable national and international legislation, including legislation for data protection

Key competencies:

Required-

• Excellent knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Graph and SAS Macro Language
• Knowledge of CDISC requirements
• Excellent knowledge of statistical programming
• Expertise in manipulating and analyzing SAS data

Professional Experience Requirements:

• At least 8 years of SAS programming experience in CDISC/clinical studies in a CRO, pharma or equivalent institution

Education Requirements:

Required: BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Data Analysis, Data Science, or related field

Desirable: MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Data Analysis, Data Science, or related field
