Senior Staff Software Engineer, Marketing Mix Modeling Ads

Role Overview: You will be joining Google as a software engineer, working on developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on critical projects, switch between different teams and projects, and contribute to various areas such as information retrieval, distributed computing, system design, artificial intelligence, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Build a Cloud SaaS offering in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Meridian using Vertex AI, BigQuery, Looker, Looker Studio, and other GCP technologies. - Collaborate with a team of data scientists and statisticians to develop innovative solutions for MMM challenges. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, driving technical goals and strategies, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Establish and maintain robust testing and quality assurance processes, providing team management, mentorship, and guidance to foster team growth. - Work closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define goals and roadmap, prioritize code cleanup, and promote testing and quality best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of software development experience. - 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure. - 5 years of experience in design, architecture, and testing/launching software products. - 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts. - Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred). - 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms (preferred). - 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams (preferred). - 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional projects (preferred).,
