Senior Splunk Engineer

You have 6-9 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on design and implementation of observability frameworks. Your expertise includes working with Splunk, Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, and ELK Stack (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana). In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on implementation and administration of Splunk. You should have a solid understanding of designing and implementing Splunk components such as Indexers, Forwarders, and Search Heads. Additionally, experience with Enterprise Observability tools from various vendors like Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Splunk, Sahara, and OpenSearch is preferred. Your responsibilities will also include establishing standard methodologies for monitoring, logging, and alerting across distributed infrastructure stacks. Proficiency in RHEL, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Puppet distributions is essential for this role. Familiarity with Public Cloud Observability offerings would be advantageous. Furthermore, having experience in writing test plan automation would be considered a plus.
