Job Description

As a Specialist in Cardiology, you will diagnose, treat, and prevent a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. You will manage complex heart diseases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient consultations, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations to assess cardiovascular health.
Interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
Diagnose and manage conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and congenital heart defects.
Develop personalized treatment plans, including medical therapy, lifestyle recommendations, or surgical interventions.
Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, or pacemaker implantation, depending on expertise and credentials.
Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular diseases, risk factor management, and prevention strategies.
Stay informed on the latest clinical research and developments in cardiology to apply best practices in patient care.
Participate in academic activities, conferences, and cardiology-related research to enhance professional expertise.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized medical institution
Completed residency in Internal Medicine
Fellowship training in Cardiology from an accredited program
Board certification in Cardiology (e.g., ABIM or equivalent)
Valid license to practice as a cardiologist
Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, team-oriented, and patient-centered approach
