Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (C, Selenium)

As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for testing end-to-end application components, software tools, and utilities essential for the operation, maintenance, and control of the application. You will conduct both manual and automated test cases, and lead QA activities including release planning, mentoring junior QA resources, and monitoring QA health. **Key Responsibilities:** - Test planning, design, execution, and reporting - Identify potential risks and develop testing approaches to manage them - Write tests based on identified scenarios, including exploratory and negative testing - Create and manage test data - Execute tests in multiple environments and log/track defects - Conduct API and UI testing, both manual and automated - Write and execute automation scripts using tools like Selenium, xunit with C# - Utilize test management tools like Azure Devops - Provide release signoff based on the passing of automation test cases **Qualifications Required:** - 8-10 years of total experience in software testing - 5 years of experience in UI and API test automation - Proficiency in C# with BDD and TDD test frameworks - Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and automation framework implementation - Knowledge of API Testing and client-server architecture - Familiarity with product testing in Agile environment - Experience with UI/API test automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, RestSharp, Postman - Exposure to continuous testing in CI/CD pipeline (ADO or similar tools) - Strong understanding of test cycles and test case identification - Ability to participate in design and code reviews and create test cases from user stories In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through effective testing strategies and automation techniques.
