Senior Software Quality Engineer, Robotics Engine

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Pegasystems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Pega Robotics Automation products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with US Stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, and QAs globally within an agile team structure. You will work closely with engineering teams to enhance product quality through continuous build, test automation, release engineering, and software testability. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating test plans and cases into code. In this role, you will be deeply involved in maintaining the quality of Pega Robotics products, renowned in the Automation industry. Your tasks will involve writing test plans for product features, developing and executing automated test cases, and utilizing technologies like Selenium and Cucumber to ensure product quality. You will also focus on creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure scripts for seamless integration and deployment of new features. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to innovate and develop new tools using GenAI to enhance team productivity and product quality. Your responsibilities at Pega will include learning about the Pega platform and Robotics product, writing test plans, executing test cases, testing Release Candidates, working on CI/CD pipelines, enhancing Automation frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders, proposing quality improvements, and developing Automations for new features. As a skilled software quality assurance engineer, you will be expected to quickly understand and test complex features, identify bugs, propose innovative solutions, write automated tests, stay updated on industry best practices, and effectively collaborate with team members. To excel in this role, you should have 4-6 years of software QA experience, proficiency in Quality Assurance Methodologies, Python/Selenium/Cucumber framework, API testing, Java, GIT/SVN, and Azure Devops. You should also possess strong knowledge of QA methods, CI/CD practices, Automation Frameworks, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Defect Management. Your accomplishments should include designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, owning quality product deliveries, and acting as a subject matter expert in Robotics products.
