Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Advantest India Pvt Ltd. (AIN), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the software development team. Your responsibilities will include technical leadership, team & project management, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the software development team, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions for control and communication with mechatronic subsystems. Additionally, you will lead and manage a team of 30+ software engineers, develop project plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Expertise in Apache Pulsar, Microsoft Azure, C++, C#, Python, SQL, NOSQL, and .NET ecosystem - Lead the development of complex, high-performance software platforms for on-premises deployment - Hands-on coding and designing of complex engineering solutions - Guide modernization efforts of legacy software components - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team - Specialize in cross-platform server and terminal development using the OneImlx.Terminal framework - Implement SAFe, Agile, and Lean methodologies to streamline development workflows - Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team **Qualifications Required:** - B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field; M.S. preferred - Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a management or lead role - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management tools - Experience with distributed messaging systems, network protocols, and data engineering - Certifications in SAFe, Agile, and Lean methodologies are a plus This role offers the opportunity to work for a leading provider of automated test equipment to the semiconductor industry and requires a self-motivated individual with competent leadership skills.
